Better late than never

If you can't tell by my sudden outpouring of posts, I recently downloaded the pictures off my camera, so that would explain why I didn't document our outing to Circus Circus for my nephew Hunter's birthday (ahem, he turned 6 in February... oh well).

We sent them into the spongebob 4D movie and waited outside. Then I started to get worried because this little girl was taken out by the workers with tears running down her face, sobbing.

Emergency adverted because they both came out smiling! Phew!

They LOVED this one. Seriously, it didn't even go fast. Just around and around and around, but I'm pretty sure they rode it around 37,987 times. At least.

You can't forget the carousal AJ picked the big lion. Big mistake. It was one that didn't even move up and down. What a disappointment. That pole is obviously just for decoration.

So we made them ride it again. Apparently Hunter thought the flute music was just as good as a KISS concert. Rock on man!

Don't you wish you were my nephew? Happy Birthday Hunter!

Spring is in the air

It's that time of year to break out the seed packets and get my mini-garden going.

This year I had AJ to help.

It's a good thing he was willing since all my honey did was,

So far, this is what I've got.

Every one's invited for some carrot-cherry tomato soup as soon as those babies are big enough.

Maternity Pics

I've had some requests to see my lovely maternal form seeing as how I'll be at 8 months next week.

Shamefully, I haven't documented this pregnancy as most people do. Especially since it's my first and only pregnancy - I really should have photo documentation as well as a daily journal entry with my cravings, all the little sensations and changes happening.

I actually haven't been a graceful pregnant lady. Maybe since I've been in denial the whole time or trying to postpone the inevitable. (If anyone knows how to not go into labor and keep 'er in there for as long as possible, please let me know!) The labor only scares me like 60%... The other 40% is thinking about how once that's over, I'll actually have this little person to take care of.

I'm not one of those people who gets professional maternity pictures. I just can't wrap my head around paying someone to help me remember the most uncomfortable, awkward, and weird months I've ever experienced. Like I said, I'm not very graceful.

So without any further ado, here are a front on and profile picture I just took with my camera. Excuse the non-professional-ness of the pictures (I'm saving up for a better camera.)

Enjoy mom!
